Introduction

So, I was going to put this on one of my pages but couldn't figure out how to add a blog to extra pages or if its even possible so I will try to provide links back and forth. I believe that this probably will hurt my site rankings but I feel I'm at a loss.

This blog's primary focus will be photos and art (and anything else creative or crafty that tickles my fancy), taken by me, or made by me.
The song at the side I felt was very appropriate and befitting. Every time I hear it, it kind of brings a tear to my eye. Not because I think the song itself is sad per se but more of a happy tear.

Recognition

Somethimes we see things different
Sometimes we even fight
But one thing we agree on
When we go to bed at night

Is that our bond is very special
So very hard to find
We will always be together
In our hearts and in our minds

You have seen our first steps and bruises

Paces

"Walk a little slower Daddy",
said a child so small
"I'm following in your footsteps
And I don't want to fall

Sometimes your steps are very fast

The Smile

It started with a smile
And I heard not one word
He told me I was beautiful
Without saying a word

It started with a kiss

Little Sunshine

As the dark leeches in,
Making dark of what once was light
The sun loses it's battle
And sinks into the night.

The day winds slowly calm,
And eases the night's light breeze
Bringing sounds of the night
To put the day to sleep

A soft and gentle lullaby
The leaves will sweetly sing
Whistling through the window

Older Poetry in a New "Light"

So, I've been harboring some poems I'd written before I had blogs. They've been sitting dormant there as "notes", (which no one ever reads). So although they are not current poems, they are, however, my creativity in full swing. So I thought I'd "re-release" them to a much larger audience. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did writing them. The "non-current" poems are entitled The Smile, Recognition, Little Sunshine and Paces. Please comment if you enjoy!
